Effective June 30, 2023, the hook up fee will be $10,000.  This fee will not include the installation costs, and the customer will be responsible for paying all costs of parts and labor associated with the connection to the water main and meter installation.  The hook up fee will entitle the SHWD customer to one connection to the SHWD water system.

Effective January 2024 (will be reflected for the first time in the February 2024 billing): 

Water usage rates: (covers a three month period) 

Base: $190.00 (for first 2000 cubic feet) 

From 2001 to 3000 cubic feet: 0.09 per cubic foot 

Over 3000 cubic feet: 0.10 per cubic foot
